In this edition of the Newton Community News residents are invited to get involved in improving rail services and stations in the area by joining a local rail users group.
Local labour Councillor Peter Robinson, chairman of the South East Manchester rail users group, wants to encourage people living in Newton to follow in the footsteps of residents in Denton, Mossley, Broadbottom and Hattersley who have got involved and improved rail services in their areas.

We’ve got a proof reader for the paper but we still manage to get it wrong sometimes. It would be useful to have a couple of people proofing – fancy volunteering?
We don’t have anyone to proof read the website content, so if you fancy getting involved your support would be very welcome.
